Viewing Content on the Web SiteQ. After successfully installing the Curl Runtime Environment or the Curl IDE, why do the demos appear distorted when viewing?A. Often this kind of problem indicates that the video driver for your graphics card needs to be upgraded. Server LicensesQ. Can I edit or rename the server license file?A.No. An edited server license will not match its signature and the Curl RTE will reject it as invalid. If you rename the file, the RTE will not be able to find it. In either case, your applications will not run. Q. When should I apply for a license?A.You should apply for a license when you are certain of the URL for the application to be deployed. Each License file is created upon request. If you are applying for a 60-day evaluation license, the 60 day time limits starts counting down the day the license is created. Therefore, you should apply for a license when the application is ready to be deployed. Q. Can I have multiple URLs in the same server license?A. Yes. One server license file can cover multiple application URLs, applications from multiple directories and also multiple hostnames. However, if you have multiple hostnames in your license file, you will need to put the license file in the root directory of the web site, or copy the file into each of the application directories, to cover multiple applications in different subdirectories. |
